Robert Harris Fine Art

Robert Harris began his career majoring in Fine Art at Winthrop University and attending Clemson University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree for Graphic Communications in 1986.

Having been raised with a rich and colorful southern family heritage, Robert made his home in Charleston, South Carolina where he enjoys a love for the lifestyle and culture, history and architecture, and the coastal landscape. This is the inspiration for his art, in which he captures both the natural and man-made beauty of the Lowcountry.

Robert specializes in finely detailed pencil renderings. Inspired by hand-tinted lithographs produced before color printing was invented, Robert uses Prismacolor pencils to hand-color prints. His work is also available in black and white.

All of Robert’s prints are on 80 # cover weight stock, acid-free, cream. Included with the larger prints is a historical biography of the scene printed on parchment paper with an embossed foil seal.
